Excitement for a new home won't last forever, but there are some ways to make your home exciting again. You could build a new home. Some people with loads of money to spend may go this route. Others choose to live with that old house. There is an option in between: a remodel. Out of all these choices, remodeling seemed to make the most sense for my family. Our bathroom was the remodel we had to undertake more than any other. The grout was cracking and a few of the tiles had become loose. To start, we had to think about materials: would we like granite countertops or would concrete countertops with tiles be better?

Everything went perfectly. The remodelers did a great job. Hopefully, at least another ten years passes before we want to throw down another bundle of money.
